Summer School Holiday 2019

The New Zealand school year is divided into 4 terms for state and state integrated schools.

There is a 2 week break between each of the first 3 terms and a summer holiday at the end of Term 4 of about 6 weeks.

Finish
Primary, intermediate and special schools: No later than Wednesday 20 December (98 half days).

Secondary and composite: No later than Friday 13 December (94 half days).

Between Monday 27 January (at the earliest), and Friday 7 February (at the latest).
