Summer School Holiday 2018

The New Zealand school year is divided into 4 terms for state and state integrated schools.

There is a 2 week break between each of the first 3 terms and a summer holiday at the end of Term 4 of about 6 weeks.

Finish
Primary, intermediate and special schools: No later than Wednesday 20 December (96 half days).

Secondary and composite: No later than Tuesday 18 December (92 half days).

Start
Between Monday 28 January (at the earliest), and Thursday 7 February (at the latest).
